Important Information

Welcome to the 34th Annual Westchester Golf Association Caddie Scholarship Fund Pro Am! On behalf of the Officers, Committee Members and the scholarship recipients, we appreciate your attendance and wish you an enjoyable day at THE STANWICH CLUB.


FORMAT - Competition will be the best ball of four both gross and net. Individual competition for the professional only. Tournament handicaps will be at 80%. All males, including professionals will play from the blue (middle) tees. All women, including women professionals will play from the red (forward) tees.
Prizes will be awarded for the morning and afternoon rounds (two separate competitions). There will be an awards ceremony during lunch for the AM round and during the reception for the PM round.

PLEASE CHECK IN AT THE REGISTRATION TABLE IMMEDIATELY AFTER DROPPING OFF YOUR GOLF BAG.

A.M. PLAYERS (8:15am shotgun) - Please arrive by 7:15 AM. Coffee and a continental breakfast will be available. Proceed to your assigned tee by 8:05. The morning shotgun will begin at 8:15 AM. Lunch will be available following the completion of your round.

P.M. PLAYERS (1:45pm shotgun) - Please arrive by 12:30 PM. Lunch will be served beginning at 11:30 AM. Proceed to your assigned tee by 1:35 PM. The afternoon shotgun will begin at 1:45 PM.

Each group will be assigned one cart and two caddies. Base caddie fees are included, however, a gratuity from each player is requested.

CELL PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE GOLF COURSE. They may be used in the parking lot only.

DRESS CODE - Appropriate attire must be worn at all times. Golf shirts (tucked in) with collars and golf slacks or appropriate length shorts (bermuda shorts no shorter than one inch above the knees) with socks are standard. Short shorts, cut-offs, jeans, denims, spandex, sleeveless shirts, tee shirts and gym attire are not suitable attire. Hats are not to be worn in food service areas.

PLEASE PLAY WITHOUT DELAY: PACE OF PLAY IS ALL-IMPORTANT. Anyone who is out of the hole should be encouraged to pick up. Individual competition among the professionals only.

AT THE COMPLETION OF PLAY - The professional should turn in the score card at the score board.

RECEPTION - Cocktails and Hors d'oeuvres will be served at approximately 6:15 PM followed by the awards ceremony.
