GENERAL - The locker rooms, driving range and golf shop will be open at 7:30 AM.
Preferred attire is slacks or bermuda length shorts. Jeans, cut-offs, cargo pants, running shorts, short shorts, T-shirts and shirts without collars are not allowed.
CARTS & CADDIES - Carts will be $25 per person. (CASH ONLY) To reserve a club caddie you must call the caddie master, Anthony Lovallo at (914) 557-3973
RULES - USGA RULES WILL APPLY. Please check the starter's table for the Rules of the Competition.
Distance-Measuring Devices: In this competition, a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional function is actually used.”
FORMAT - 18 HOLES STROKE PLAY - GROSS AND NET (40% OF COMBINED COURSE HDCP-24 STROKE LIMIT PER TEAM). ** PINEHURST FORMAT ** (Note: This is a change from the last several years that was “selected drive”)
THE CHAMPIONS ARE THE LOW GROSS HUSBAND & WIFE TEAM.
TIES - USGA recommended procedures for deciding ties will be used (EXCEPT FOR THE LOW GROSS) as follows: A match of cards will determine all places except for low gross on the basis of the aggregate score for the last nine holes. If still tied, the aggregate score for the last six holes, the last three holes, and the 18th hole. If still tied, sudden death from hole #1. IF NECESSARY, A SUDDEN DEATH PLAYOFF WILL BE HELD IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF PLAY TO
DETERMINE THE LOW GROSS CHAMPIONS. IT IS THE PLAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO BE PRESENT IN THE CASE OF A PLAYOFF.
FOOD SERVICE - Beverages and lunch will be available in the club house. (CASH ONLY) Please plan to have lunch at the club either before or after your round. Please do not stop during the round.
